Rose
Gardens- By

While in Japan, we were incredibly
privileged to visit the rose garden! The rose garden is like a park, covered in
many different types of roses. I have never seen so many different kinds of
flowers in one place! In my opinion, this was one of the most beautiful areas
that we visited during our stay in Murayama! Peaceful and calm, the rose garden
was a great place to relax and take in the amazing scenery of Japan.
Although
the day we visited the rose garden was extremely hot, we were excited to go
explore the garden nonetheless! In between taking pictures (of the flowers and
of ourselves with the flowers) and looking at each and every rose, we sat on
benches to rest and enjoyed the cool shade. At the rose garden was an adorable
little ice cream shop where everyone was able to choose out of some really cool
flavours, such as rose, mango, or vanilla. We sat in the shop before leaving to
enjoy our ice cream and listened to Renee play piano. Coleman also entertained
not only the Youth Ambassadors, but also some Japanese people in the shop with
his dancing! We had tons fun!
Visiting
the rose garden was honestly amazing. Not only were we able to view more of
Japan from the height of the hills, we got to learn a little bit more about
Japanese gardens and flowers. Everyone
had a great time walking through the flowers and trying to pronounce their
names! I can safely say that all of the Youth Ambassadors had a wonderful time.
Visiting the rose garden was an incredible experience that I will never forget!
